Tradition-SS
With the holiday season upon us, many of us are thinking and planning for what we are all going to be doing.
My girls and I don’t have a lot of traditions when it comes down to it, but we do have a few. We always have a family dinner, just the 3 of us, it may not be on the actual day, but we always have a special dinner just us. I guess that is about the only tradition that we have right now, although there is always time to start new traditions.
My sister and I have a tradition of getting our Dad chocolate covered cherries for Christmas. That tradition started when I was just a young child, because it was something fairly cheap that we could get for him. That tradition continues even today, but sssshhhh, don’t tell Dad what he’ll be getting!!
Other than that, I’d like to start more baking traditions with the girls, and maybe more crafty ideas, like making an ornament of some kind or another for the tree every year, but who knows what will happen.
Traditions are all fine and dandy, enjoyable, fun, heartwarming, and all that, but what is most important is that God is the center of our lives and that family is our focus!
Blessings!

That last sentence says it all.
