Time

I knew it had been awhile since I had been in here to post, but I had no idea that it had been over 2 weeks!! Time sure seems to fly at times, and drag at other times!!

Things are going okay here. Went to the orthopedist which netted me physical therapy, and than they decided that occupational therapy would probably be better, so I’ve been doing that for a few days now. It’s really no big deal. Today I was in and out of there in like 30 mins at most, because I flew right threw my exercises. I think it’s helping with range of motion, but not the pain issue, and not picking up stuff, but we’ll see how it goes. I really wonder if I will ever be pain free in that wrist again, but who knows.

School is progressing along very well, although I really have a tough time remembering some things every day. I would have like to go a different direction these past few months, but it just hasn’t worked out that way. It’s not really a big deal though, we are compromising, and making things work. Des is a champion reader when she chooses…*LOL*…Meg is still progressing slowly, but progressing none-the-less. I’m quickly figuring out that Meg is a visual learner…she has to have something in front of her, especially as far as math is concerned…You can’t just ask her what 6+2 equals, because her brain just doesn’t function that way…she has to see the numbers in front of her for it to click in her brain. Which is fine by me…that is one reason I homeschool, so that my girls can learn at whatever pace is comfortable to them, and so that I can change how we learn things if it’s not clicking with them! I really need to crack down on myself though and start getting everything done that I want to, instead of just minimum stuff!

The weather hasn’t been too bad all in all. Kind of cool today because of the wind, but yesterday was nice. We’ve been flip flopping on temps, which makes it easy to get sick, but at least we haven’t had weeks and weeks of unending cold, or lots of ice and snow!!! Funny part is that I bought the girls snowboots back in December, right after a snow storm, and they haven’t needed them since. *LOL* There is still a chance that they will be needed this year, and if not, they should fit next year.

Anyway, I guess I’m going to get off here for now, and hopefully it won’t be another two weeks before I make it over here!
