In Memory of Mr. Fuzzy

Posted October 25th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

I don’t have any pictures on this computer, so I can’t post one of the many pictures I have of him, but know that he may not have been a handsome fellow to some, but to me he was most handsome.

Fuzzy was an old stray cat that came to my Dad’s house many years ago. He was king of the country, no cat messed with him much, as he had already proved to them that they couldn’t beat him.

A few years ago I moved and took him with me. I wasn’t sure how happy he would be as an inside cat, but I knew that he was getting too old to survive outside. Much to my suprise, he loved living the easy life inside, and even more suprising is that he always used the litter pan when he was able.

You see, among many other injuries, he had a digestive problem and often had accidents as a result. I never held that against him.

I have known for a long time that his time to leave me was coming, and a few days ago, I made the choice to have him put down. He was so sick, and crippled up from previous injuries, he was just so misirable that he told me it was his time.

It is hard having him gone now, even though I know he is in a much better place. His love and comfort brought me through many many hard times, and I will never forget him, and will always love him.

As my tears flow I hope he looks down from Heaven and realizes how much I loved him, and how much I miss him!!

Avo Cigars

Posted October 25th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

I really don’t know anything about Avo cigars, or any other cigar for that matter. Well, I guess I know a little about them. Some of them smell nice, other are exceptionally nasty smell and taste. *LOL* Who on earth would want to smoke peach or grape cigars? I just can’t fathom it. It sounds nasty, let alone what it must really taste like.

Flash Drives

One of the handiest little gizmos I’ve come across any time recently are the flash drives. While I don’t have one, I would truly like to get one. You plug it into your computer, put the information on it that you want, and than take it out and plug it into another computer. Now wires, no program installations, just plain simple plug and go. I love that.

Affordable Term Life Insurance

Posted October 25th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

You know, I really enjoy doing these posts on different subjects. From affordable term life insurance, horse supplements, acne treatments, Dansko, rear spoilers, and well the topics are endless.

If you read all three of my blogs, while you would find some entries on the same subject, you will always find a wide array of other subjects as well. Plus you would also read about some of the family happenings in our lives.

Hansgrohe Faucets

Posted October 25th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

I’m a simple girls with simple tastes. I’ve never wanted any fancy silk or satin sheets or curtains, although I admire how they look in magazines. I’ve never wanted white carpet or white furniture, because although it might make a room look nice, I find it impractical with kids, animals, and mud. I’ve never wanted what I call fancy Hansgrohe faucets, simple plain ones do me fine.

Exam Table

Posted October 25th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

I’ve been on both sides of the exam table so to speak. I worked as a nurses aid in nursing homes, okay so that’s not truly an exam table but you know what I mean. I’ve also been on the exam table myself, and can’t really say which is the better place to be. I’m not one for being sick or injured, so when I am, it annoys the heck out of me. Being on the nurses side isn’t easy either, it’s a hard job, and most of the time a thankless one.

The Best Weight Loss Pills

Posted October 25th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

There are MANY things I don’t really care about, like politics, religion, the best weight loss pills, what latest food isn’t good for you, the latest greatest tv show, latest fashions, latest electronic gizmo, and so many more things.

I use what works for me. I’ve never had much interest in politics. Seems to me that all the politicians say what you want to hear, and then do what they want.

Rear Spoiler

Can’t say I know much about cars, or the fancy gizmos that some people use, like rear spoilers. I’ve helped my Dad work on cars since before I can remember, fetching tools and such, but wouldn’t know the first thing about doing anything major. I can check all my fluids, change a tire, and could probably muddle my way through changing the oil, but that would be about all.

Dansko

Working for Dansko had been both good and bad, mostly good though. It was time to move on though. She hadn’t stayed in one place for more than 2 years since she had left home at 16.

Her home life hadn’t been easy, but it hadn’t been bad. That’s not why she had left, she was a free spirit and felt that it was time to go somewhere, and do something else.

Christmas Invitations

Posted October 18th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

I find that the holidays are quickly aproaching. Halloween is just around the corner. We are already discussing plans for Thanksgiving, and thinking about what to get everyone for Christmas, as well as already working on getting Christmas presents.

I’m not sure how Christmas will work this year, with my sister having her own house, but I am excited that the girls and I will get to spend the Holiday season with my Dad!

I am sure that the girls and I will be receiving Christmas invitations from my Mom, although I think I will opt to spend Christmas here at home this year, unless Dad has other plans in mind.
