I can’t say I ever had much problem with acne, thankfully. I am hoping that the girls can avoid that as well, as they are growing up.
One of my cousin’s however had a horrible time with acne. He tried everything he could, including special treatments from the Doctor. I can’t say that he ever found the best acne treatments as nothing worked exceptionally well, but I guess try is all you can do.
I’ve never taken it upon myself to use a weight loss diet. I am happy to say that with the extra activity the last couple of months that I have been able to lose another 10 pounds, but it has nothing to do with a diet.
I am ever hopeful that neither one of the girls will ever need to diet or really worry about their weight. It is not a fun way to live.
Seems there are lawyers for everything. Custody, divorce, criminal, accidents, Mesothelioma lawyers, and so many more. I guess it’s like Doctors that choose a speciality, and yet I find it overwelming to try and find the right lawyer for what I need.
I wish there was a way to know which one is the kind of lawyer I would get along with, not that it much matters at this point, as I don’t need a lawyer at the present time, but some day I might.
There are a lot of things that we’d like to fixup around the house. New carpet, the livingroom walls, repainting a few rooms, and one thing I wouldn’t mind is when we re-do the kitchen I’d like to have a backsplash. I’ve been looking at stainless steel backsplashes, but haven’t quite made up my mind. I’m not sure if we will ever get so far as to do something like that, but it would be nice.
I suppose there are good and bad things about home alarm systems. I don’t think I have a need for one, but can’t say I would object to getting one, though I would not like it if the alarm went off for no reason. I suppose there is more need of alarm systems if you live in the city, or at least a ritzy neighborhood.
As many of you know, I often do paid entries on my blogs, and today I have been asked to do a paid review of an online university.
I see the good points and bad of online universities, but over-all I think it’s great. It gives us people that live far from colleges/universities a chance to continue our education as well as being able to continue our education at our own pace, around our own schedule in many cases.
The online degree programs at Western Governers University seems quite extensive, which is always nice, that way you can choose something that really interests you.
The links on their sidebar seemed easy to navigate, as well as being full of the information you need when making the choice as to which university is best for you.
We’ve had about 3 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. No flooding between here and the school, but I don’t know about anywhere else. The rain took a break earlier this evening, so maybe we are finally on the tail-end of the storm. I really don’t mind rain, as long as it’s not raining so hard I can’t see when I drive. Temps have been chilly, but not overly cold, for which I am thankful.
Tomorrow, I need to go into town, gas the car, go to the store, and the library. I think I will probably wait to go until I hear from Dad, because if he gets in early he will want to go get his paycheck and go to the bank, so we could do it all in one trip, providing I have enough gas to make it to pick him up…*LOL*
Had a REALLY bad headache all day today, thankfully it’s backed off some now. Only got one load of laundry done earlier because I was feeling so rotten. However the girls helped me get a load of dishes going, and more laundry. I’m hoping with 1 more load I will have all the clothes done, and can then wash my bedding.
Chili is planned for dinner tomorrow night, providing I have chili powder, if not I guess it will be Saturday’s dinner. I really do need to plan what I’m making this weekend, so I can make sure I have everything I need.
Dad is taking Monday off. It will be nice to have him home for that extra day. Hopefully it won’t be rainy all weekend, because Dad wants to work on Chief’s hooves.
Chief is doing well. Not real happy today as I didn’t let him out on picket, and he’s all wet. I talked to Dad today about an idea I have to provide him a bit of shelter, and yet I’m not sure it was a good idea or not. Really I’m not sure we can do it now or not, because of it already being so chilly out. It would take some work, and neither Dad or I relish the idea of being out much when it’s chilly.
Well anyway, that’s about all my ramblings for the night.
Not feeling real good today, tired and have lots to do. Des is annoying me to no end tonight, but I know she doesn’t mean to.
Being tired is kind of my own fault the last couple of days, because I’ve stayed up late reading. I can’t help it, I have no will-power when it comes to books. *LOL* I have two different books going at the moment. Comstock Lode and Over On The Dry Side. Both written by Louis L’Amour. I started Comstock yesterday but then Dad got Over On The Dry Side today in the mail today and I couldn’t resist starting it. *LOL*
Going to have sandwhiches for dinner tonight because it’s quick and simple and I really don’t feel like cooking tonight. Think I’ll put a stew in the crockpot tomorrow. We are supposed to be going somewhere tomorrow for dinner, but figure the stew will keep for leftovers, or we may decide not to go. I was planning stuffed peppers for Saturday but forgot that we might be going out that night. Dad will probably prefer to have peppers instead of going to a resturant anyway. I’ll just have to make sure I get them done early.
Well I’m supposed to be busy doing computer work so I suppose I better get off here, and get busy doing it.
