All Inclusive Cancun Vacations

Posted December 7th, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

Hmm, as vacations have been the focus of the past couple of entries, I thought I might want to mention something about all inclusive cancun vacations. I don’t know the details, probably never will have the money to go somewhere like Cancun, but the all inclusive part sure does make it tempting!! I generally like deals like that.

Probably though, my first vacation would be back to California to see my best friend.

Outer Banks Vacation Rentals

Hmm, can’t remember for sure where the outer banks vacation rentals are, but if I remember right, they are somewhere near mountains, and while it may be beautiful there this time of year, with the snow and all, I can’t see many people really wanting to vacation in the snow unless they like skiing or something. I wouldn’t mind so much though, as the mountains are my home.

Orlando Vacations

Can’t say that orlando vacations would be what I would generally choose for a vacation for the girls and I, but at this point, Orlando doesn’t sound all that bad! The weather here is cold, snow and ice in the forecast, so Florida is looking pretty nice these days, especially when I heard it was going to be 70 degrees down there today.

Data Center Services

She took a moment to breathe a sigh of relief. After years of planning and hard work, she was now officially in business, and the best part is that her data center services business was done in her home office! No more commuting to work, no more set hours of work, no more babysitters for the kids. It was truly a dream come true! One she had worked her tail off to achieve.

Quiet Day

Posted December 1st, 2009 by Vicki No Comments

I decided to take a day for myself, which kind of makes it sound like I never do, when in fact I do quite often. Anyway, here I am at the library dinking around on the computer, which I would quite happily do at home, except my wonderful laptop won’t automatically find wi-fi connections, and I don’t know how to fix that.

I went to the store this morning after dropping the kids at school. Went and picked up acouple of things for Dad, and then did a bit of window shopping that ended up with me buying just acouple of things. I wanted to get some playing cards for the girls and I, as Des wants me to teach her how to play Canasta. She kind of already knows how, but she needs practice, and I don’t mind playing with kids, while other people don’t have the patience to. Also it will give us a chance to play concentration/memory, which is good for both the girls, as it will increase their memory capacity which should help with their reading comprehension. I also picked up just acouple of things for them for Christmas, some pencils they can take to school, or leave at home (their choice) and a deck of playing cards for their very own.

Then I came here to the library to pick out some movies and books, and now am getting some work done on the computer, as well as just kind of dinking around doing what I enjoy.

Tomorrow or Thursday I need to go to a bigger town and do some Christmas shopping, as well as pick up Dad’s boots which I took in to have new heels put on them. It will be another enjoyable day, as I love to Christmas shop. Mostly clothes this year, as they are in desperate need for clothes, and clothes are useful, plus they really don’t need any more toys, are are growing out of the toys anyway. I have already picked them up a few things, and they have done their shopping for each other.

Ugh, I still have to get something for my nephew too, and I just don’t know what to get!! He doesn’t need anymore toys either, so that leaves me wondering what to get him. I will figure out something though, I hope. *LOL*.

Well off to do more work.

LCD TV’s

I’ve been looking at tv’s off and on lately. My tv is relatively new…and I use that term loosely as it’s nearing being 10 years old. I know they don’t last forever, so I’ve been looking at the available options, as well as the price of them. I can’t say that I really understand the difference between the LCD tvs and the non-lcd…which I know is not the proper terminology. Anyway, I hope my tv continues to work for awhile, so I don’t have to try and sort through and figure out which one we would want to buy.
