Forever Sisters, Forever Friends
As much as I would have thought my title would be true for my sister and I, it hasn’t been in a long time. I can’t pinpoint when we started pulling away from each other, can’t even say why really.
I can’t remember having any serious disagreements in our childhood, or really that many in our teen years….Is there really any way to say that 1 thing caused our rift. Despite some people’s thinking, I don’t think the rift can be repaired to continue the relationship that we had in our childhood. Too much has happened, to many disagreements, harsh words, and even harsher thoughts. Do I love my sister?? YES, without a doubt!!! Do I believe that she needs to be a vital part of my life?? No, my children are what’s vital to me. Time passes, and we do the best we can at living peacefully.
