Winter Lilies

One of these days I’ll have to go to one of those sites that say you can get free credit score reports. I’m curious to know what my credit score is, now that I’ve been able to pay off some bills. I figure I have raised my score some because I keep getting credit card offers. I simply throw them away, as the last thing I want is a credit card, but it’s nice to know they want my money, and I can tell them “no”. *LOL*

I’ve seen the effects of credit cards, and I want to stay as far away from them as possible!!

I’m going to have to start looking at office furniture here soon. Dad’s computer chair is showing it’s age. I don’t know exactly how old the chair is, but I do know that countless hours by several people have been spent in this chair. I hate to lose this chair, it is unbelievably comfortable, but alas, the seat is wearing out, seams are coming from together.

I could talk about books all day long! I love books, all sorts of different types.

My favorite authors are Louis L’Amour and Nora Roberts. I could read books written by those two all day long!! *LOL* In truth, I have read them all day long at certain times.

Louis L’Amour wrote mostly westerns. He also had some more modern stories, crime stories, and of course boxing stories, but his westerns is where he excelled, in my opinion. The man knew how to craft a story! He will forever be the greatest western writer ever.

Nora Roberts writes romance, but her romance stories are far from the typical “boy meets girl, fall in love, live happily ever after”. She is a crafter of words, stories, and charactors. Each book is so different that they keep you reading again and again. I can’t name a book by her that I don’t LOVE!!!

You know I remember seeing my vitamins a few days ago, and now for the life of me I can’t find them. I take the OneADay Weight Smart. I’m not really sure if they help my weight or not, but I know that I feel better when I take them on a regular basis.

I’m not big on taking tons of vitamins, not like my Mom. She used to take like 20 different kinds of vitamins a day, and she still got sick and such, so I don’t really see the point, but I do admit that certain vitamins do have their uses, and really do work.

I don’t know anything about the apidexin scam but I have plenty of experience with other types of scams, especially “work at home” money making “deals”. You pay hundreds of dollars for the startup kits, or access to exclusive websites, only to find out that their programs don’t work, and of course you never get your money back as promised.

You know just once I would like to find a legitimate, non-expensive work at home job. I’m not out to make money doing nothing…I’m not afraid to work, I just want to be able to do it from home!

I’ve never received any wedding invitations, of course I’m not close with that many people so I guess that’s to be expected.

I’ve been to a few weddings, but only as the +1 person.

Now graduations are a different story, I’ve been to lots of them, and even received invitations for them. All my brothers and sisters sent me invitations, and I was happily able to attend part of them.

I have to admit that after submitting over 150 resumes within the course of 1 month, and getting no response my desire to have a job rather paled. As did my desire to finish the other college course I was taking. I mean really, what was the point after recieving my certificate on the transcriptioning course, and still not being able to find a job. All in all, I think I was lied to..free job placement…yeah, where’s my job??

Anyway, now I’m paying off student loans, and didn’t even get anything out of them.

I’ve realized that I probably make it rather difficult for my readers to keep up with my life, as I do have 4 blogs, and I do put different content on all of them most of the time, but you really have to read all 4 to get a complete update as to the happenings over here.

Anyway there isn’t a lot planned for today. I’m going to make breakfast pretty soon for the family. Dad has to leave this afternoon. We will all miss having him around, but money is needed to pay bills.

I am excited that I am doing well enough to pay my bills, with my blog advertising, but I am still looking to make more money so I can help Dad out with some of the other bills. Ultimately, I would like to find a job that would allow me to take over the bills so that Dad can retire!!

I am happy to say that I almost have another bill paid off. Maybe next month I can wipe it out, if not, than in July I expect it to be gone. It won’t be a big help with the other bills really, but it will be one less that we have to worry about.

I am fairly certain that I will be getting a different cell phone the middle of June as well. I’m not looking forward to having to change my phone number, but the difference in the bill will be worth it!! I’m going to be saving about $70 give or take a bit every month!!
