Winter Lilies

I hope you’ll excuse the irregular entries. Things have been kind of messed up lately. Trying to get back in the school routine, I’ve been pretty sick for the last 2 weeks, soccer practice has started, and well, life just keeps us busy.

Chief ended up with pneamonia and was taken to the VET center for treatment. He’ll be coming home on Wednesday. Life has seemed so empty without going down twice a day to feed and water!!! We’ve gone to visit him almost every day, but it’s not the same!! We’ll all be glad when he comes home!!

Soccer practice started this past week. The girls are excited, and can’t wait for the games to begin on the 18th. I am happy to report that the games are on Saturdays, so Dad will be able to go, and maybe even some of the other family can even come down and support them/

Work is keeping me busy. I’m not complaining, as I enjoy the work, I’m just astounded at the amount of work I’ve been doing lately.

To top it all off I have been trying to find time to finish the website I’m designing. I still have quite a lot of work on the side pages to complete, but the main page is basically done. Maybe this weekend I can get it finished, or at least most of the way finished.

I’m trying to get back into the blogging habit again, and doing semi-regular entries.

About the only thing on my mind tonight is how hot it has been. I pray the heat is short lived. Low 90′s/upper 80′s is quite hot enough thank you very much. I would be much happier if it was only down in the upper 70′s or low 80′s. Then I could get some stuff done around the house, and with Chief. It’s been too hot to do much of anything except pray for cooler weather!!!

*LOL* In all actuality I do have work, which is why I’m here tonight, but first a few snippets about our fun.

The girls had swimming lessons again this morning. After that we went to the store for some picnic stuff, and then had a nice picnic. After that we went to the pool and spent an enjoyable afternoon.

Tomorrow the fun continues with the last day of swimming lessons. Tomorrow evening Des has another softball game.

This is truly a great summer!!

Things have been so busy that I haven’t had much time for the computer or my blogs. I’m sorry that I haven’t been keeping up, but there are just so many hours in a day. As it is it’s already almost 11pm, so I’m trying to hurry through some blogging, get dishes done, laundry, and who knows what else I will get done.

Swim lessons are going well. One more week of them to go. The girls are having loads of fun. We’ve gone to the pool acouple of times on our own to, and had loads of fun. Dad even went with us once. We have lots of plans to go to the pool while the summer lasts.

Summer seems to be breezing by so quickly. Probably because we’ve been so busy. I’m sad for it to be going so quickly. I love having my girls home, although I can’t say they have been home all that much. *LOL* Whenever they get the chance they are over playing at Madyson’s, or at the library. I do have plans for July though, to get back to reading at bedtime and such things, and the girls are going to have to crack down and get stuff done here at home before they go off to play.

Well it’s off to do my work. I’ll try to do better at updates, but I make no promises until school starts up again. *LOL*

*LOL* I can’t count the times I’ve mentioned that things are busy right now, but it’s true.

Des and her team won their second game, 10-0. Quite a victory for them. They have another game on Friday. She’s all excited because Grandpa should be there to watch her.

Star Struck is going along just fine. The girls will be singing Xxx’s and Ooo’s by Trisha Yearwood. I tried to download the song online from Bearshare, but of course I can’t get it. So I’m going to try and find a disk of it at Walmart tomorrow. We can listen to it on YouTube, but it’s not the same as a cd recording of it.

Anyway I’ve got to get busy with some work.

I’ve realized that I probably make it rather difficult for my readers to keep up with my life, as I do have 4 blogs, and I do put different content on all of them most of the time, but you really have to read all 4 to get a complete update as to the happenings over here.

Anyway there isn’t a lot planned for today. I’m going to make breakfast pretty soon for the family. Dad has to leave this afternoon. We will all miss having him around, but money is needed to pay bills.

I am excited that I am doing well enough to pay my bills, with my blog advertising, but I am still looking to make more money so I can help Dad out with some of the other bills. Ultimately, I would like to find a job that would allow me to take over the bills so that Dad can retire!!

I am happy to say that I almost have another bill paid off. Maybe next month I can wipe it out, if not, than in July I expect it to be gone. It won’t be a big help with the other bills really, but it will be one less that we have to worry about.

I am fairly certain that I will be getting a different cell phone the middle of June as well. I’m not looking forward to having to change my phone number, but the difference in the bill will be worth it!! I’m going to be saving about $70 give or take a bit every month!!

Well anyway, I’m off for the moment to pop over to my other blogs and update them.

Sorry I’m so far behind on blogging!!!! We have spent the last week moving!!! Yes I said MOVING!!!! I am sooooo happy to finally be moved!!!! It’s been a rough move though, not only did we move all of our stuff to the new place, but we also spent 2 days clearing out a storage shed that we’ve had for like 15 years….so anyway it made for some very long days.

Now I am spending my time trying to get everything unpacked, all the clothing and bedding washed, and getting my house in order.

We don’t have internet at the house at this point, so I’m still stuck coming to the library, but it won’t be for long. I’m checking internet options as we speak, as well as trying to get some overdue work done.

Not much of an update I know, but I have tons of work to do so I need to get it started.

The house hunt is one difficulty after another. I thought I had found a house a month ago or so, but after looking at the house we decided that it was not a wise choice. Then acouple weeks ago I thought I had found another one, but the landlord already has renters in it, and is having trouble getting them to move out….so that one went down the drain too. Then this past week I thought I had finally found the one! We looked at it, liked it, price was right, was all set to move, Dad had even scheduled time off work so we could move, and then I get a call from the owner saying that he’s not sure he wants to rent it, he might just tear it down instead. *bangs head on table* I was so upset, am still sooooo upset!!! I thought finally after 6 months that we would be able to move, and then I get this news!! I still haven’t heard one way or the other yet…I keep hoping, praying, begging, and pleading that he will decide to go ahead and rent it to us….The waiting is killing me!!!

I’ve been waiting for 24 hours now for them to come get my car, and I’m still waiting. I called them yesterday morning and they said they had run into some problems, but that they would still come get my car. I called again yesterday evening, and they said that they might get over here last night or this morning. Well here it is just after 10am and I haven’t seen them yet. I want to call again, but I don’t want to be annoying, and bugging them with phone calls either. The lady I’ve talked to seems very understanding about my impatience, but still…..I don’t know what to do!!! I have to get my car taken care of, so we can find out how much it’s going to cost to fix it….and then I have to deal with getting Dad’s car taken care of. I can’t really progress through my week without my car being taken care of first….

I am so stressed out right now!!!!!!!
