So, there’s this guy at a nearby gas station. I go in there quite a bit, and he’s always nice, and friendly. One time he commented that he liked the shirt I was wearing. He’s as my name….We joke around when we haven’t seen each other for awhile….It just makes me wonder if he’s like interested in me, or if he’s that way to everyone.
I’ve tried observing how he is with other customers, and I’ve never heard him use or ask their names, but of course he is still polite to them.
I’m not sure I’m really interested in him, as I’ve told myself I’m done with relationships, and am content to be single. However, he does seem sweet and kind…The girls even like him (at least what they know of him), and they haven’t like a single guy that I’ve been interested in yet, so it makes me wonder…..

Okay, so I found this car posted on a classifieds site, it is a few years newer than mine, all the doors work, as well as everything else from what I’ve been told. I really like the looks of the car, and it is priced very reasonably….but there’s acouple of things that make me wonder if I should pursue buying it….One would be the fact that we don’t have the money budgeted, so buying it could put a strain on us. Another thing would be that we weren’t looking for another car, but an suv, and not until after the first of the year.
However I would like to have a car that I can count on, instead of always having something wrong with it. I would like a car that all 4 doors open on it, and a car that the a/c doesn’t make the car overheat….*sigh* I just don’t know what to do!!!!!

It was hot and humid last night, but this morning it is cool and rainy. I love it!!!! It makes for a lovely change compared to the 100+ degree temps we’ve had lately.
Today I don’t really have much planned, although I do need to take my car in and see if they can find out why it keeps heating up without cooling off like it’s supposed to. I plan to do that pretty soon, if the girls wake up. *LOL*
I don’t mind them sleeping in now and then. Yesturday Meg was up at 6am, for some unknown reason, so school went by quickly.
Well, I suppose now that I’ve done a quick update I need to be moving on.

2 down and 2 to go. I don’t want to do them right now, but I know if I don’t it will be much harder to come back and do them later. I want a nap, which is silly, because I took a nap earlier. I need to get grades put in the computer, but it’s not going to happen today…..There is always housecleaning that could be done, but again that won’t happen either. *sigh* Just not feeling good.

Well I can’t say that we’ve been having a very good season. We’ve lost all 4 of the games we’ve played. 6-4, 8-7, 7-6 ( I think), and the worse yet 7-2. We’ve made some mistakes, made some good plays, and have been improving, or at least some have. Our outfielders need some work on when they should move, how they should move, and how to back each other up, so there would be less chance of the ball getting by them. I really wish that the whole team, or at least most of it could meet up and do some practicing. Unfortunetly I don’t have any of the parents phone numbers or anything. It’s really not my place to suggest extra practice anyway, but it would be nice. I practiced with Meg last night, on her outfield duties. Des has been practicing her pitching as well, and both the girls have been practicing their catching.

Only 3 more work entries and I’ll be done for most of the week!!! I will be glad to have them done and out of the way so that I can concentrate on finishing the fencing project, softball, laundry, the horse, and the millions of other projects that I have to do.
I love the flexability of my work, but even though it is very flexable, it still seems inconvienent at times. I am happy though that I am able to work at home though, as working outside the home would be even more inconvienent!!!

A very special day!! Today is my Meg’s 10th birthday!!!
We really don’t have a lot planned for today, aside from softball practice later this afternoon, providing we don’t get rained out. I plan to stop by the store and get some cupcakes and juice for the whole team, to celebrate her birthday. However we are planning to have her birthday party on Saturday. Hopefully several of her friends will come!!!
For today we are going to pick up the house a bit, work on some crafting projects, maybe play some ball later, and then see what the day brings us.

Pitching Clinic ended this past week, and softball practice started. Life is certainly busy for the foreseeable future. Practices are 2 or 3 times a week. I also have acouple of trips to Topeka coming up, as well as another trip to KC in the next couple of weeks.
We took a trip up to KC this past week to get the girls new glasses. Meg also got contacts. She is so excited, and will be more excited when she can get ones that fit right. They mailed out a different brand that hopefully we will get this week. We are hoping those work better for her. Anyway, in another couple of months I will be able to get new contacts, which I will just order online. Des also will need new contacts in the next few months. It’s just our luck that both Meg and Des need the expensive kind.
Anyway, I’m trying to get a bit of work done, so I’ll move along now.

Things are progressing along quite nicely. We got Chief’s corral all cleaned out, so now we can work with him without fear of him hurting himself.
Pitching clinic for Des is coming along nicely, although I’d like to see her put in more practice time at home. I’m hoping that I can get her to go out here pretty soon and put in some practice time.
I’ve checked into dance lessons for the girls, as that’s something they’ve wanted to do for awhile, and we just haven’t had the money, but things are looking up for us, so come fall it’s possible the girls will be dancing.
Thursday we are planning a Kansas City trip for contacts and glasses. The trip is always long and dreadful, but it’s worth it for the price we get. Meg is going to get contact with any luck.
Well, that’s about all the updates I can think of for the moment.

We didn’t wait for the end of this school year after all. I suppose I should have marked it on a calander what the official start date was, but I started homeschooling the girls a week or two ago. We just couldn’t stand the public system another minute, or maybe it was just that school.
Anyway, when I started talking to the girls about switching schools, they said they would rather be homeschooled again. I love it!!!!! I’ve really missed homeschooling them, and being with them!!
I’m sorry if I’m repeating stuff, I didn’t have time to reread what I had previously written, as I’m in a bit of a hurry to get things done tonight.
